Terms & Conditions

Your placing of an order shows that you accept these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and keep for future reference.

You must be 18 or over to order items through this website. We treat each order for items as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Supplier's Discretion

Imaging Direct Ltd (the supplier) have the right to refuse to supply any printed matter ordered by you, at our discretion.

Description of goods

All descriptions, specifications and advertising on this website or in other media are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the items/prints. Whilst every effort is made to provide a good representation of the actual product, 100% accuracy is not guaranteed.

Quality of Printing

At Imaging Direct Limited we are proud of and confident in our expert production team and their quality output. We always strive to achieve the best possible reproduction from your digital image(s). Taking into consideration, however, any combination of the nature of the processes involved, the limitations of the images provided and occasionally unrealistic expectations we do not guarantee an exact match in colour or texture between your digital image and the printed product.

Payment methods

We accept most major credit and debit cards. We use PROTX secure payment method, so your details are entirely safe. On your order form you must provide the same address details as on your card and the telephone number that the relevant credit bank holds for you. Your order will only be despatched once authorisation of your credit card payment has been properly received by us.

If you wish to pay be cheque or direct bank transfer, please call our office number and we will advise you; 01296 630111. Payment must be received before your order is despatched.

We only invoice and accept payment in British Pounds Sterling (GBP ££).

We do not keep your private financial data or share it with any third party company.

Supplier unable to fulfil your order

All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. In this event, or if for any reason we find your images are not suitable for printing, we will contact you to either offer a full refund or to re-upload a more suitable image.

Export restrictions

We can invoice and deliver to anywhere , but the currency of transaction will remain as British Pounds Sterling, and VAT will be charged according to HMRC regulations. If you are based outside the UK, we do not take any responsibility for the delivery of the goods, and it is entirely at your own risk.

Delivery Times & Method

Your order will be produced and despatched within 10 working days unless we encounter a difficulty, in which case we will advise you accordingly. (Usually we expect to have a 2-3 day turnaround, but at times of peak demand it may be the full 10 days). The delivery aim of the Royal Mail's Signed For service is 1 day, however, this is outside of Imaging Direct Limited's control, and may take longer at busy times.

Delivery will normally be by Royal Mail Signed-For service, and you will be charged for post and packaging. The details you provide on the order will be used for the delivery labels so please ensure they are correct. All items must be signed for upon delivery, if you are not available, however, a card will be posted through your door and the parcel must be collected from your local Royal Mail delivery office within 7 working days. In the event that either of the above are not carried out by the customer the parcel will be returned to our offices and an additional postage supplement will be charged to the customer at our standard postage rates.

You must check your delivery carefully against the delivery note, and notify us within 2 days of any missing items.

Collections are not possible as our insurance does not cover visitors/customers to site.

Non Deliveries / Damaged Goods

All items must be signed for by the customer upon delivery, and when necessary we will use the proof of delivery supplied by The Royal Mail.

If Royal Mail cannot supply the Proof of delivery after 28 days from posting, we will reprint the items and reship at no cost to the customer.

If goods are damaged on arrival, you must note the damage on the Royal Mail delivery sheet, and notify Imaging Direct Limited within 2 days of receipt. You will need to return the damaged goods to us with all the original packaging (without the packaging we cannot process your claim), and on receipt of the packaging and the damaged item(s) we will issue a free-of charge replacement.

Cancellations, Refunds & Returns

If you are not satisfied with your goods you must contact our office within 2 days of its delivery. We will endeavour to rectify the problem, and may offer a reprint of the product or a full refund, at our discretion. In the event that a full refund is agreed you must return the goods to our office at your own cost. Where agreed, the full refund will be issued within 24 hours of receipt of the return.

Once your payment is received, your order will be produced and despatched. If you decide to cancel your order, we will charge only the costs to the point of receipt of cancellation. So if it has not yet been produced, we will refund all the invoice value less £10 administration fees. If it has been printed but not despatched, we will refund only the invoiced delivery costs to you. If it has been despatched, no refund will be due as you will be receiving the goods.

Events beyond our control

Imaging Direct Limited are not responsible for any delay or failure in carrying out our duties under this agreement if the delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These circumstances include civil commotion, riots, flood, drought, fire, the postal service, the courier service, strikes, machine break downs. You must allow us reasonable time to carry out our duties in these circumstances.

Your Personal Data Privacy

You explicitly consent that Imaging Direct Limited may use the personal data you have provided in the order solely for the purpose of production and delivery of your printed item. Your email address may be added to our newsletter mailing list (opt out available) but all other data is deleted from our server and local machines upon the completion of your order. Our obligations under this agreement include but are not limited to the disclosure of your personal data to the companies and organisations engaged to supply and deliver the order to you including without limitation printers of the products, Royal Mail, relevant couriers and other postal authorities, any other person and/or organisation engaged by us to fulfil your order and all other relevant authorities who are entitled to or to whom we owe a legal obligation to the disclosure of your personal data. You acknowledge that after having been advised of the purposes and circumstances under which your personal data may be used, processed and disclosed to other parties as detailed in these terms and conditions and on the web site you explicitly consent to the disclosure and the transfer of your personal data as described.

Your Financial Data Privacy

Under no circumstances will Imaging Direct Limited keep your financial details on our web server or local computers. If you place an order via telephone or post your transaction will be processed immediately and no hard paper copies of the transaction will be stored. If you order and pay via our website you will be redirected to a secure server (which is operated by Protx) and Imaging Direct Limited does not capture any financial data, financial logins or financial passwords.

Copyright of Pictures

a) Imaging Direct Ltd will not keep your image files, nor will we sell them to, share them with, or allow access to them by any third party. They will be deleted from our system 30 days after your order is despatched.

b) Imaging Direct Ltd will not use or reproduce your image files for any purpose other than your order(s) unless you have given your express permission in an email or in other written form for us to do so.

c) Imaging Direct Ltd takes copyright issues very seriously, and we reserve the right to refuse to reproduce any image if there is any doubt about the ownership of copyright. By placing an order with Imaging Direct Ltd, you accept the responsibility for ensuring that copyright of the images supplied is not infringed.

If Imaging Direct Ltd suspect copyright infringement, we may take whatever action is appropriate.

Email addresses for Marketing Newsletter

We may record your email address on our server for use only by ourselves. This data will not be passed on, shared or sold to any third parties. We will remove your details immediately if requested to do so.

Special Offers / Promotional Discounts

Special offers and discounts only apply applied to product prices only. You will still have to pay our standard postage rate for delivery of the prints unless otherwise stated in the offer.

Complaints

At Imaging Direct Limited we try our best to provide an excellent service at all times. Sometimes, despite all the best intentions, however, things do go wrong. If you need to make a complaint please email us. We will respond to all complaints with 28 days, and we aim to resolve the issue as soon as possible

Governing Law

This agreement will be governed by English law and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
